We Rise: Class Recognition Anthem
A large-scale personalized recognition experience combining original music, AI-assisted avatars, animation, and cinematic editing to celebrate every learner.
The challenge
Recognition in a virtual classroom can overemphasize grades and overlook growth, perseverance, kindness, and participation. The goal was to create a shared experience in which every learner was represented and the class could celebrate progress together.
The concept
An original music video placed personalized learner avatars inside a single class story. Personalization made each student visible while the shared anthem emphasized belonging rather than competition.
Production workflow
The project required approximately 50–60 individualized avatar assets plus animation, scene composition, music, and post-production. The workflow included:
- Avatar generation and consistency review
- Character and lip-sync animation
- Scene and background production
- Original music generation
- Asset naming and organization
- Editing, timing, compositing, and quality review
The hard part
Scale changed the nature of the work. Creating one compelling avatar is a media task; keeping dozens of personalized assets consistent, organized, respectful, and coherent inside one story is a production-system challenge.
Evidence and privacy status: The production scale is described on the current public site and resume. No student images, names, or avatars should be reused until consent, employer ownership, and privacy requirements are verified. A privacy-safe reconstruction may be preferable.
What this project demonstrates
- Personalization as a strategy for belonging
- Managing a complex AI-assisted asset pipeline
- Combining instructional intent with creative direction
- Applying iterative review to animation and emotional storytelling
